Codariocalyx motorius
Synonym: Desmodium gyrans. Named "dancing plant" or "semaphore plant", it is known for the spontaneous rotation, visible to the naked eye, of the two leaflets at the base of the leaves, accompanying their movement to capture maximum light according toan ultradian rhythms. Warm temperatures (25 °C to 30 °C) are required to observe these quick movements. Flowering: 7/9, pink flowers.
