Perennial epiphytic or aquatic stoloniferous plant. Wide green cordiform leaves, 5 cm in diameter. Utricularia nelumbifolia can grow in axillar leaves of bromeliads. Flowering: 5/6, mauve flowers, palated hemmed by two yellow stripes.
Obtaining of Mr Studnicka in 2000 . ( Utricularia quelchii x Utricularia praetermissa ) This cultivar displays large oboval green leaves hanged by a petiole. This high flowring hybrid differs from the parents by its flowers nicely mauve colored with a bright yellow macula on the palate. Flowering: 4/6.
