More than 21 species living in South America, tropical Africa and Madagascar. Traps very special from 3 cm to 15 cm long buried in the ground and forming tube with a forked end. Prey: protozoa, tiny worms. Digestion: enzymes. Assimilation: through glands. Passive carnivorous plant.
