Small perennial terrestrial stolonate plant. Oboval leaves, 5 mm long. Flowering: 2/5, small light pink to purpule flowers.
Close to G. violacea, differing by its perennial habit (in cutivation and in wilde condition), larger traps, leaves and scapes. Previously named G. violacea "giant".
